Kenya Railway Corporation selects Eastra Solutions to Design, Supply and build Network for Imara Daima & Makadara stations

Kenya Railways is a State Corporation established under the Kenya Railways Corporation Act (Cap 397) of the Laws of Kenya, The vision is to be the preferred provider of rail transport services, Provide efficient and effective railway services and promotion, facilitation and participation in national and metropolitan railway network development.

Eastra Solution was awarded a contract to Design, Supply and build of a Data network and unified Communication system. Eastra Build a LAN interconnected all services with a 10G backbone at Makadara and Imara daima stations including revenue collection points, CCTV, PA system and access control. Design of IP scheme to integrate multiple vendors and systems to KRC WAN and application running at the datacenter. This included provision of a central command to manage rail transport.
